Jim Thorpe

Friends from around had gathered in Jim Thorpe for this Independence day.  We got on with a sluggish start.  And with ant-like co-ordination, we finally made it to the zoo and played in the river - splashing, exploring and chit-chatting.  The night in Bethlehem rekindled old-time memories of our parents.  With clock slowing down, the room was filled with fun and laughter.  Meanwhile, we kids took a dip in the pool and went to bed.  Though planning was a fun exercise for our 'enlightened' parents,  we enjoyed the train ride and boating.  The crowd really added spice to it all.  A memorable day.
